A thermal transfer overprinter (TTO) prints high-resolution variable data directly onto flexible packaging film — crisp date codes, batch numbers, barcodes, and even logos, exactly where the pack design leaves space. We supply compatible thermal transfer overprinter systems matching widely used industry platforms, including systems comparable to Videojet Dataflex 6330/6530/6230 and Linx TT500/TT750/TT1000 configurations, with 32mm and 53mm printheads. These are third-party brand platforms — we describe them strictly as compatible systems we supply, not as WDOTMARK-manufactured products.

Why TTO for Flexible Packaging

TTO lays down 300dpi-class print on films, foils, and labels — far sharper than CIJ on the same substrate, and without the solvents CIJ needs. Because the printhead only touches the ribbon, not the pack, it handles intermittent and continuous motion machines cleanly. Typical uses: snack and confectionery flow packs, coffee pouches, pharmaceutical blister lidding, and cosmetic sachets.
